What is Supported Employment
Only 16% of adults with autism are in full time employment. This statistic is all the drive we need. Our Supported Employment Agency works like any other agency, we match candidates with employers and provide on the job support to both employee and employer.
Why should I join?
By joining us through Supported Employment, you will work together with your own Mentor to create a personalised plan that will help you to achieve your own ambitions. Whatever your goals or dreams, we believe that with a little support and inspiration, the right guidance, advice and support, we can help you unlock your potential career.
How will you know what job to match me to?
We work closely with local employers and businesses to identify a wide range of work opportunities, so you don’t have to. With support from your Mentor, we help you access these opportunities as well as giving you exposure to work through our successful in-house social enterprises. You may already have a job in mind or an area that you would like to work in but don’t know where to start. We will listen to you, talk to you, understand your skills and help you plan a route to make your ambitions a reality.
How much can I earn?
The answer to this question is never a straight forward one, especially if you are already receiving financial support in its many forms. We will help you make the right decisions and help you to explore the options available to you, making sure that your financial experience in work isn’t a negative one.
Will I be able to gain a qualification?
Work experience and volunteering as well as gaining a qualification can be an excellent route into work and a great way to improve your confidence and understanding. We can work with you to better understand the right qualifications for you as well as giving advice on free courses, funding available and where to access to right courses that give you the skills to match your ambitions.
